Volunteers donating blood at City X-Ray & Scan Clinic's blood donation camp.

In an exemplary display of social responsibility, City X-Ray & Scan Clinic, a prominent diagnostic chain in Delhi, held a blood donation camp on World Blood Donor Day. The camp was organized in collaboration with Guru Nanak Dev Charitable Blood Centre, a reputable institution known for its high-quality and safe blood collection practices.

This noble initiative was motivated by the chronic blood shortage in India, a country where thousands of lives are lost daily due to a lack of safe blood.

A total of 23 individuals, including staff from the clinic, donated blood during the event. Participants were made aware of the chronic shortage of blood in the country and the importance of safe blood transfusion processes.

Dr. Aakaar Kapoor, CEO and Lead Medical Advisor at City X-Ray & Scan Clinic, thanked the voluntary blood donors for their invaluable contribution. He emphasized the significance of blood donation in saving lives and improving the quality of life for patients.

City X-Ray & Scan Clinic, founded in 1993 by Dr. Ravi Kapoor and Dr. Sunita Kapoor, is renowned for its state-of-the-art Radiology and Pathology services. The clinic’s steadfast commitment to quality, safety, and patient care is reflected in its NABL and NABH certifications.

Through this initiative, City X-Ray & Scan Clinic continues its tradition of excellence in healthcare and underscores the importance of community engagement in addressing the pressing health challenges of our times.
