Mrs. Sugandha Jadhav, a 71-year-old patient, presented with symptoms of breathlessness during routine activities and was diagnosed with Type 2 respiratory failure, bronchial asthma, old TB, and severe aortic stenosis (AS) and left ventricular dysfunction (EF-15%). Although the treatment options were risky, Mrs. Jadhav opted for open heart surgery and with the help of Dr. Gulshan Rohra and the team of expert doctors at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai Central, she received successful treatment.

Dr. Rohra said, “Mrs. Jadhav’s case was challenging due to her multiple risk factors, including her age, weight, and lung condition. However, we planned for her surgery meticulously and worked together to replace the diseased valve with a new one. With the help of pulmonary and physical rehabilitation, Mrs. Jadhav made a remarkable recovery and is now leading a healthy life.”

Mrs. Jadhav said, “I am grateful to the team of doctors and staff at Wockhardt Hospitals, Mumbai Central, for their excellent care and support during my treatment. Their expertise and encouragement helped me overcome my fears, and today, I am living a fulfilling life with my loved ones.”
