Directors of Rotary International - Anirudh Roy Chowdhury and T.N. Raju Subramanian

Gordon McInally, the newly-appointed President of Rotary International (RI), has emphasized two primary goals for his term – the global eradication of polio and increased attention to mental health issues. As the head of RI’s global network of 46,000 clubs, McInally is tasked with guiding the organization’s efforts to address these critical global health issues.

Rotary has made tremendous strides in combating polio, achieving a 99.9% reduction in polio cases through the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. Alongside this ongoing initiative, McInally will also prioritize mental health, an often overlooked yet essential aspect of global health.

McInally and his leadership team, including newly appointed RI Directors Anirudh Roy Chowdhury and T.N. Raju Subramanian from India, are well-positioned to make a substantial impact in these areas. As a team, they bring a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to Rotary’s mission of service.
