Medikabazaar, India’s foremost digital platform for healthcare procurement, has appointed Vishal Chaturvedi as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Chaturvedi, who holds degrees from MIT and IIT, has nearly two decades of experience in the technology sector, having worked with well-known companies like Samsung, Amazon, British Telecom, Jio, and BlackBuck.
Established in 2015 by Vivek Tiwari and Ketan Malkan, Medikabazaar aims to connect sellers with medical establishments for efficient and cost-effective procurement. The platform collaborates with a wide range of manufacturers, distributors, and healthcare facilities, while sourcing high-quality medical supplies and equipment from China, the US, and Europe.
In his new role as CTO, Chaturvedi will work towards enhancing Medikabazaar’s technology vision and developing state-of-the-art technology products to address the complex challenges of healthcare supply chains. He will also focus on capitalizing on digital monetization opportunities for the company.
