AyurVAID Hospitals team with QAI Accreditation Certificate

In a pioneering move for the Ayurvedic healthcare sector, AyurVAID Hospitals Domlur, Bengaluru has made a significant stride. It has become the first Ayurveda hospital to be accredited by the Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI), under the Transition Care Centre (TCC) Standard, on May 20, 2023.

This recognition from QAI, India’s only organization providing TCC certification and an institutional member of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua), marks a breakthrough for Ayurvedic healthcare. It affirms AyurVAID’s efforts in creating an ecosystem for education, training, quality improvement, and accreditation in healthcare.

The accreditation aligns with AyurVAID’s mission to offer precision Ayurveda that emphasizes standardization and validation of integrative and Ayurvedic clinical protocols. AyurVAID, under the leadership of Rajiv Vasudevan, MD & CEO, provides step-down-care for patients with diverse health conditions.

The QAI accreditation follows AyurVAID’s previous feat of becoming the first NABH-accredited Ayurveda hospital in 2010. AyurVAID is now the third healthcare provider in India to receive the QAI-TCC accreditation, further strengthening its position as a leading provider of Ayurvedic medical care.

The achievement illustrates AyurVAID’s commitment to integrating Ayurveda into mainstream healthcare. By maintaining stringent quality systems and leading the charge in Ayurveda’s evolution, AyurVAID is at the forefront of healthcare innovation, shaping the future of integrative medicine.
