Devangi Dalal, a co-founder of the Josh Foundation, has been recognized for her outstanding work to provide free hearing aids to underprivileged children. As an audiologist and speech-language pathologist, Dalal has made it her mission to help and support children who have hearing issues and make them equally inclusive in society.
Her foundation has distributed over a thousand hearing aids to children and has successfully provided 100 percent digital hearing aids to children in 12 schools. In addition, she has written books, directed a telefilm, and organized events to spread awareness about hearing impairment. Dalal’s relentless efforts and courage have made her an advocate for hearing health at the international level, and she continues to work towards bringing about a change in society’s treatment of hearing and speech-impaired children.
